Maybe Carrie Underwood will think twice about the height of her heels the next time she steps onstage.
The country star took a bit of a spill Thursday night while performing in front of a Corpus Christi, Texas, crowd. Fans captured images of Underwood stepping on the long hem of an oversized shirt, resulting in her ending up on her butt onstage. To her credit, she did finish singing the song -- from a seated a position.
She took it all in, um, stride though, tweeting afterward, "Hey, remember that time in Corpus Christi when that girl busted her butt on stage?! Hilarious. Oh wait, that was me!"
She also tweeted a photo of her foot in a black brace with the caption, "Good news, it's not broken...AND I got some new footwear!"
Her fall comes just a few days after her NHL player hubby Mike Fisher was bitten by a chipmunk that had found its way into their home. Naturally, they captured the rodent saga on Vine.
